Weekly closures in Kerala
Besides the holidays above, all Sundays are holidays. State government offices in Kerala are also closed on the second Saturday of every month. Banks follow the RBI rule and close on the second and fourth Saturdays.
District Collectors can declare local holidays for festivals, elections or heavy rain. Those are announced separately and are not included here.
